How do I approach my car labelling?

What should my car labelling express?

Basically, you should be clear about what information should be on the vehicle and what message should be conveyed to the viewer. An labelling is intended to provide the viewer with fast information about the company / product / service of the company. It is a good idea to present the logo / name clearly and, for example, to list the product range / range of services (for example by adhesive lettering). Supplemented by product photos / address and web address as well as telephone number, can quickly create a meaningful car adhesive lettering.

How large and which areas should be labelled?

If you have the desired contents together, you can think about the appropriate sizes. The exact size of the adhesive foils and stickers can be easily adjusted in our configurators (adhesive lettering or own motive). Measure the maximum height and width of the surface. This will help you to avoid fading logos and lettering or sticking to unwanted and challenging surfaces. In our configurator, you can always see the exact size of your motive or lettering. Regulate the size until you get the desired dimensions.

Doors and windows are particularly suitable as surfaces. Bumpers and areas below the doors or fenders can also be labelled according to their shape. The rear window is also an effective means. Since in moving traffic this area is seen mainly by the following vehicles, one can place here wonderfully relevant information. Here you should briefly consider whether the lettering foil is applied from the inside (mirrored) or from outside. Possible impairments caused by windshield wipers, ice scrapers, etc. can damage the fonts, but the contrast will always be better when the adhesive foils are applied externally.

Colour, font and own motives for an car labelling

Due to the large selection of colours and the wide range of fonts, there are no limits to your creativity. Just try different colours and fonts, combine them and create interesting letterings. In addition to the fonts, you can order your motives, pictures and logos as an adhesive foil. For this, you need your motive or logo as a well-resolved file (for example, vector file) which you can upload in our Motive configurator. If desired, you can have your motive printed on a rectangular foil or remove the background to receive an optional motive.

How do I stick the car labelling on?

All our adhesive foils stick on smooth and dust-free surfaces. You should thoroughly clean the vehicle and the corresponding surfaces of dirt and dust. This way you avoid unpleasant inclusions under the foil after sticking.

Adhesive lettering and motives without background are contiguous delivered on a transfer foil. These can be stuck on in a whole and pulled off after installation. The individual components then remain on the vehicle and stick in the right place. (You do not have to attach individual letters). Flat adhesive foil (Rectangular, round, etc.) you get on a protective carrier paper which you can easily peel off. Then you can stick the flat sticker to the desired place and press them on. As a help you can use a squeegee, a credit card or similar. Installation instructions for adhesive lettering

Rear window labelling as car labelling

The rear window is especially suitable as a surface for car lettering. It should be noted that contrasting colours such as white or bright colours are used to ensure readability. In the case of tinted windows, care should also be taken to ensure that the adhesive foil is applied from the outside. In the case of not tinted windows, an assembly can, of course, be done on the inside, which leads to better protection of the foil, for example, allows an ice scraper to be used in winter. Also, the windshield wiper can not affect the lettering. Align the rear window lettering with the existing lines of the rear window heating system.

Engine hood with labelling

The engine hood offers a great area to present your logo strikingly. Normally, it is very easy to label a hood, since the flat surface can be applied quickly and without problems with an adhesive foil. The heat of the motor plays no role since the adhesive foil withstands these temperatures without problems. As a unique gimmick, the logo or the web address can be attached in a mirrored manner, which allows the vehicle to read the logo correctly in the rearview mirror.

Use doors and sides as advertising space

The common areas of a lettering are probably the doors and side surfaces of a vehicle. Here you can attach all necessary points in an easy way to present your company to readers. The driver 's and passenger' s doors, as well as the windows and areas in the rear area, offer plenty of room for a meaningful vehicle description.
