What happens if I do not create a trim and have not booked a data check?

If you have not created any crop paths in your motif (e.g. only one image file such as JPEG or PNG), slightly enlarge the motif to reduce the risk of "flashes". The motif is scaled so that each side is at least 2 mm larger than the desired motif size. The actual cutting is done in the ordered size. Please note that no important information should be placed within 5 mm of the edge of the motif, as it may be cut off. If background images are used, we recommend stretching them out to the edge, while colors should be spread generously around the edge. Without a professional data check, many products are automatically transferred to production without being manually checked. If your motif is not laid out correctly, there is a possibility that parts of the motif will be cut off. Slight deviations in cutting are production-related. Therefore, it is advisable to design the areas generously for motifs with a colored background.
