What is meant by cut contour?

If your sticker should have a specific shape, we need a suitable cutting path as a vector graphic. This cutting contour (cut contour) determines the size and shape of the sticker. To create it, we recommend programs like Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign. Adobe Photoshop is not suitable.

How to create a cutting contour (cut contour):

1. Create a new layer above your design.
2. Use the path tool to draw the desired shape.
3. Define a spot color in 100% magenta and name it “C”.
4. Color only the outline of the created shape with the spot color.
5. Make sure the contour is set to “Overprint”.
6. Export the file as a PDF in X-3 format.
