What happens if I don't add a bleed and haven't booked a data check?

If your design does not include cut paths (e.g., only an image file like JPEG or PNG), we will slightly enlarge the design to reduce the risk of "white edges." The design will be scaled so that each side extends at least 2 mm beyond the desired design size. The actual cut will be made at the ordered size.

Please note that no important information should be placed within 5 mm of the edge of the design, as it may be cut off. If you use background images, we recommend extending them to the edge, and colors at the edge should be distributed generously. For certain products such as banners, we recommend a larger margin. Without a professional data check, many products are automatically sent to production without manual review. If your design is not set up correctly, parts of the design may be cut off. Minor cutting deviations are due to production processes. Therefore, for designs with colored backgrounds, we recommend making the areas generous.
