Magnetfolie expressly recommends using magnetic signs only on surfaces made of magnetic metals. Not all metals are magnetic! Only iron, cobalt, and nickel are magnetic metals. Since aluminum is increasingly being used in the manufacture of vehicles, you should check whether your vehicle has magnetic surfaces.
