Embed or vectorize fonts

Fonts and lines

Embedding or vectorizing fonts in print files is important to ensure a consistent appearance of documents on different devices and systems. If fonts are not embedded or vectorized, it is possible that fonts will be displayed or printed incorrectly and lose quality.

In general, fonts should not be smaller than 6pt to ensure optimal readability. In addition, paid fonts must be vectorized to avoid legal issues related to licensing.

Embedding or vectorizing ensures a consistent design on different systems, prevents quality loss during printing due to vectorization, ensures the correct display of the selected font, and increases the editability of print files.

If fonts are not embedded, a system font is automatically used as a substitute. It is important to note that such a change cannot be subject to complaints.

As part of the professional data check, we will of course check whether everything is in order with the font.
