When do I have to create a vector graphic?

Print data

A vector graphic is important if you want to enlarge the file enormously. With a pixel file you can see the individual pixels from a certain size, while the motive, as a vector graphic, does not change.

Another reason why the file may need to be present as a vector graphic is that you have chosen the production method "without background" / "outer contours" or a cutting plot. Here we have to cut along the paths that will be used to create a vector file. Usually you can say: If you have chosen a production type where we should cut directly on your motif we need a vector graphic.
